Things are never dull or boring in India, and this weekend was another example of that fact!  On Saturday and Sunday, the Joybells children and the NMH students were given a special experiential learning assignment to help them understand more about ancient history. They were divided into 4 teams comprised of both NMH students and Joybells kids. Each team had to research information about the lifestyle and challenges of the ancient cave people. Then each team had to construct a dwelling using only the materials provided by the natural world. They also had to create a story or skit about their particular tribe and cook a simple meal on an open fire which they made themselves. There were some heavy rainstorms that added more challenge to their tasks, but in the end, each tribe completed their assignments successfully while they had fun, learned about the lives of our ancient ancestors and about working together as a team. We hope you enjoy the attached photographs!
