On Thursday, the group visited the American Farm School, which has many similarities with NMH. Not only does the school have a Farm that each student works hours per week to produce dairy, but the school’s vision is also about the education of the head, heart, and hand. After having a brief tour around the campus, students went to the Farm and had an once-in-a-lifetime experience to learn and see the process of artificial insemination of cows. In the afternoon, the students split into two groups and about the current Europe refugee crisis. Before having dinner with AFS students and faculty in a local restaurant in the evening, NMH students met with members of the student congress in American Farm School and shared student lives with one another. Students are both excited and anxious for tomorrow’s Model UN conference, in which they will represent Iran, Greece, and France across four different committees.
